Nothing will be the same after Drake drops his new album.
September is a great month for music. Toronto singer The Weeknd, 2 Chainz, Maybach Music Group, Justin Timberlake, Janelle Monae, and so many other artists are scheduled to drop new albums this month, but nothing amounts to the anticipation of Drake’s third studio album, Nothing Was The Same.
In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Drake revealed his forthcoming album is all about “growth.”
“This album is about growth. When I play it for people, they ask, ‘Who’s that rapping?’ I’m like, ‘That’s me.'”
Drake also revealed that he enlisted the talents of Jay Z on Nothing Was The Same’s outro, which is rumored to be titled “Pound Cake.” Earlier this year, Drake and Jay were photoed in the studio.
Drake’s Nothing Was The Same is scheduled to drop September 24th.
