Looks like everyone is banking off of the George Zimmerman murder trial.

Turns out the defense lawyer who aided in the acquittal of the former neighborhood watch volunteer has been hired by CNN as a legal analyst.

Mark O’Mara’s first day of work was slated for Friday and word on the street is we’ll see him on our screens more often than not.

It’s not surprising – O’Mara is no stranger to the network.

He appeared there often in the evening once court was done during Zimmerman’s second-degree murder trial in Sanford in June and July and in the days thereafter.

He appeared on other news networks, as well, but none as much as CNN.

It isn’t clear how long his contract runs or how much he’ll be paid, but one thing is for sure…

If you had your full share of O’Mara during the five-week trial this summer, it might be time to find a new news network.
