Divorce is looking mighty sweet for Shellie Zimmerman.

The woman who was married to George Zimmerman for six years and stuck by him during his high-profile murder trial will now be supported by the same fund that was created for Zimmerman supporters to donate their money.

According to divorce docs that will soon be filed by Shellie Zimmerman, she claims she’s getting $4,300 a month in living expenses from the Zimmerman Legal Defense Fund.

The couple separated August 13th.According to the solicitation on PayPal … the fund is to be used “for George Zimmerman’s ongoing living expenses, legal costs, and fees for this matter.”

But that’s not all.

The site raised more than $300,000, and though Zimmerman may still owe his lawyers for an “aggressive defense,” most of that money is now going to Shellie. Interesting.

On Friday, Shellie spoke with Good Morning America about her divorce.

“I have a selfish husband. And I think George is all about George,” she said in a segment that aired Friday on “Good Morning America.”

Shellie Zimmerman said she isn’t really sure she ever knew the man she has been married to for almost seven years. She told ABC that her husband was emotionally abusive at times, but he was never physically abusive.

George Zimmerman’s acquittal has left him feeling “invincible,” Shellie said, and she sees him “making some reckless decisions.”

She described her life as shattered. “I stood by my husband through everything, and I kind of feel like he left me with a bunch of broken glass that I’m supposed to now assemble and make a life,” she told ABC. “It’s just heartbreaking.”

In any case, somebody is winning in this case. Or losing, depending on how you look at it.
