Oop! K.Dot hot!

Kendrick Lamar’s “Control” verse is still stirring the pot. It’s been almost a month since Funkmaster Flex first debuted Big Sean’s “Control” verse, and the title for the “best” emcee is still up for grabs.

Over the weekend, Philly rapper Meek Mill released a response titled “Oooh Kill’em,” where he fired back at Kendrick Lamar for claiming to be the best in the game and being the “King Of NY.”

Last night, Kendrick Lamar returned to New York to perform at Williamsburg Park in Brooklyn. During his set, Kendrick responded to Meek Mill’s “Ooh Kill’em” diss track, stating:

“I been doing this sh*t for years…I mastered this sh*t. I have no time for irrelevant n*ggas or new n*ggas. There’s one n*gga in particular that needs to realize that there’s ‘levels’ to this sh*t. I’m motherf*cking king Kendrick!”

News quickly spread across hip-hop sites and went viral on Twitter, prompting Meek Mill to tweet:
