Chances are, a lot of us wouldn’t be as calm as this 12-year-old Chattanooga, Tennessee girl if someone broke into our house.

But when Bre’Asia Morrow and her 11-year-old sister heard sounds while they were home alone and sitting on the top-bunk of their bed, Bre’Asia quickly dialed 911 to tell them what was going on.

There were burglars in the house.

The operator, Amanda Miller, told her to find a safe place to hide so she took her sister into their bedroom closet.

She says one of the men came into their bedroom while they were hiding and grabbed some cash on a dresser, but didn’t notice them.

She stayed on the phone with the operator until police arrived, relaying everything that was going on through whispers.

“You’re doing a great job, you’re very brave okay, you just stay right where you’re at,” Ms Miller said.

When the two men, Zacakaree Howard, 19, and Carlos Jones, 18, walked out of the house, the police were there to take them in. They were charged with aggravated burglary and vandalism after stealing televisions and computers.

The parents of the girls, thankful for Bre’Asia’s quick thinking and bravery, are considering getting a guard dog for the house.

But no one is more thankful than little sister Azariah.

“She really told me stuff. She was telling me I’m glad you’re okay and stuff. That’s good that they didn’t find us,” Azariah said. “And we were keeping calm, my sister told me it was good that I kept calm.”

Kudos to the little She-ro! We’re glad the two girls are safe and sound.
