Another day, another Lamar Odom rehab rumor.
In the latest reports about the former LA Clippers baller and his alleged drug addiction, RadarOnline claims Lamar was almost on the road to recovery, “until he blew off a meeting with a drug counselor on Tuesday.”
The site reports Lamar was ready and willing to check into an out-patient rehab program, as it would allow him to lead a normal life while seeking the help he allegedly needs. A source told Radar he won’t entertain the idea of full blown rehab because he has:
“major trust issues and didn’t feel comfortable in a rehab setting.”
The source goes on to say:
“Lamar had been scheduled to meet with a counselor on Tuesday, but blew off the meeting. Sadly, it doesn’t appear that Lamar is on track to getting healthy.”
The same source also says that Lam Lam’s sports agent Jeff Schwartz is highly frustrated with him, because he wants his client to realize he needs to get help through rehab. On that topic, the source adds:
“Lamar just shuts down the topic whenever it’s brought up. When Jeff or anyone pushes Lamar to get help, he just abruptly ends the telephone call and lets future calls go to voicemail. There is only so much Lamar’s inner circle can do… those that love him, including Khloe, cannot persuade him.”
It’s hard to figure out what we can believe in this situation, but a few concrete facts are: Khloe is still wearing her wedding ring, Lamar is still wearing his as well, and they have both publicly denounced any marital issues whatsoever.
