Russian president Vladimir Putin has a message for the U.S. – striking Syria is totally not a good idea. In a NYT op-ed titled “A Plea For Caution From Russia,” Putin writes that the strike “will result in more innocent victims and escalation, potentially spreading the conflict far beyond Syria’s borders. A strike would increase violence and unleash a new wave of terrorism.” He also alleges that the chemical warfare allegedly used by Syrian president Bashar al-Assad may have been the work of the opposition. Now here is some good news. Rapper The Game is showing some generosity and donating $10,000 to the family of a 6-year-old girl who was gunned down in front of her California home last week. “This very sad story hit me in a place nothing ever has,” Game, 33, wrote next to an Instagram photo of the little girl, Tiana Ricks. Controversial pastor Terry Jones is coming under some serious fire (and the law) after he was caught with thousands of kerosene-soaked Qurans. He planned on burning the Muslim holy books, but was arrested on Wednesday at a traffic stop in his pickup truck (which was towing a smoker and a trailer full of the books). He was also charged with transporting fuel and openly carrying a firearm. [Orlando Sentinel]

On the hidden camera series “What Would You Do,” producers sent an actor into an establishment to make some anti-Muslim comments about the cashier. The goal was to see if anyone would intervene. This soldier did…and you just have to see his response. [YouTube]
