Sweet baby Jesus we love the ’90s!

It’s officially #ThrowbackThursday and GlobalGrind decided to take it back to the ’90s. There are so many eras and genres of music we miss, but the one era in music we miss the most is ’90s R&B.

When you think of ’90s R&B girl groups that just had “it,” there are only a few groups that come to mind quickly, TLC, Xscape, Total, and one of our personal faves, SWV.

We miss SWV, and despite their brief return to music in early 2012 with their album I Missed Us, we STILL miss their permanent presence in music.

So in honor of the Sisters With Voices, GlobalGrind rounded up 11 things we still miss about SWV. Take a trip down memory lane below…

1. Coko’s Nails

Like…..Coko’s nails were EVERYTHING!

Take a closer look.

2. SWV’s awesome hair styles

3. Their impeccable dance moves

4. Coko’s distinctive voice

5. SWV’s “around the way girl” swag

6. Their ’90s Fashion

7. Like who can forget SWV’s obsession with hats?

Snapbacks….

Floppy hats….

Fitteds…

8. Oh, and their matching outfits.

9. Can’t forget about their love for hoop earrings.

10. Their quintessential R&B anthems which have since turned into ’90s classics.

11. Oh, and the thing we miss the very, very most is hearing SWV sing “Weak” on the regular
