Wu-Tang Forever.

It’s official, a Drake and Wu-Tang Clan collaboration is happening, just wait on it. The Toronto rapper came down to New York City to participate in Elliott Wilson’s highly acclaimed #CRWN interview series.

Although Drake didn’t divulge many details behind the forthcoming Wu collabo, we know it’s going to be great. The “Tuscan Leather” rapper shared a lot of insight behind his third studio album, including details about his mother being upset about his NWTS track “Too Much” and how “Pound Cake” was originally meant for Jay Z’s Magna Carta Holy Grail.

Drake also gave his opinion on Kendrick’s “Control Verse,” stating:

“That [‘Control’] verse was a moment to talk about. Are you listening to it now, though?. He didn’t come in there on some wild, ‘I’m in New York, fuck everybody.’ I almost wish he had come in there on that shit because I kind of lost a little bit of respect for the sentiment of the verse. If it’s really ‘fuck everybody’ then it needs to be ‘fuck everybody’. It can’t just be halfway.”

Drake is also gearing up to release a music video for his “Hold On, We’re Going Home” track, which will be released later on this week.

Drake’s #CRWN interview series is presented by Myspace and will air on Myspace.com this Wednesday, September 25 in a three part series.

Nothing Was The Same officially hits store shelves tomorrow, September 24.
