The FBI held a press conference today to give the public more details about last week’s Navy Yard shooting, as well as the man who entered the military facility and killed 12.
But the most jarring and shocking piece of evidence authorities have uncovered so far is this eerie video of Aaron Alexis entering the Navy Yard with his shotgun and scanning the halls for victims.
This afternoon, the FBI confirmed that he chose victims at random and that he didn’t have a specific target.
Watch the video above to see Alexis with his firearm right before the carnage. Warning, it’s a bit unsettling.
The FBI also released photographs of the weapon Alexis used during the rampage which show the odd phrases he etched into the stock of the gun.
