Kris Humphries may have left the reality TV world, but that doesn’t mean he’s left television for good. Set your DVRs, because Kris will join the cast of The Mindy Project on an upcoming episode!

Kris, a professional NBA player, recently revealed that he will play himself as the newest member of the “Getting Over It Gang” on the hit Fox show starring Mindy Kaling. Kris and the other single guys in the group pride themselves on having lives – even though they don’t have wives.

They literally chant:

“Just because we don’t have wives doesn’t mean we don’t have lives. Single and cool, single and cool, single and cool, yes!”

As far as the show goes, Kris confesses he was nervous at first, but eventually got over the jitters:

“You’re always nervous where people are really talented and you don’t do this really, but as time went on, just being out there and messing around with the guys…I loosened up a little bit and ended up having a good time.”
