Are you missing Breaking Bad yet?
Don’t worry, BB actor Vince Gilligan ended one show and began working on his next potential hit, Better Call Saul, a Breaking Bad spinoff based on Walt and Jesse’s lawyer Saul Goodman.
We all fell in love with Saul’s witty comebacks and ability to get whatever his client wants, but how will funny guy Bob Odenkirk lead this show? Will it be more comical, or more like the acerbic Breaking Bad? Well, now we have a small clue.
During a recent interview with Slate, Odenkirk gives fans of the show a little gem about what’s to come:
“Vince Gilligan and the writers will make the ultimate decision, but Vince has told me, the last time he talked to me, he said that it will be slightly more dark than it is funny. That’s an interesting balance to strike. And I’m excited.”
Better Call Saul will be a dark, yet funny show? We’re in! Can’t wait to see the final version of what could possibly be AMC’s next big hit.
