Eminem’s latest single, “Berzerk,” might have gotten a mixed reception in some circles (ahem, Twitter) but it’s hard to front on the song’s video: the shit is dope. And it totally enhances the track.
The song was produced by Rick Rubin, and the hall-of-fame producer plays a prominent part in the video. Some new behind the scenes footage was just released in which Rick talks about the song.
Speaking from the set, Rick said:
“I think it’s unlike any current hip-hop songs. Em wanted to do something, kind of a throw-back to some of the early records that we were making in the old days, and it more reflects that energy of the early days of hip-hop.”
