What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, but not for this 9-year-old boy, who was sent back home after he hopped a flight to Sin City from Minneapolis without a ticket. Last Thursday, the boy made his way to the airport, through security and then boarded Delta Flight 1651 with no interference at all. He ordered food from an airport restaurant (went to the bathroom to ditch the bill) and took a bag from the luggage carousel. The crew only became suspicious when they realized they didn’t have any unaccompanied minors on their passenger list. Now the TSA, who has many of their staff furloughed at the moment because of the government shutdown, is blaming politicians for the slip-up. [Gawker]
