Where do we even begin with the ongoing issues between Khloe Kardashian and her basketballer husband Lamar Odom? The pair has been rumored to be in marital turmoil due in part to Lamar’s speculated use of drugs such as Oxycontin and crack cocaine, and while no reports have been validated by the Kardashian Kamp, a glimpse at the latest episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians is all we needed to see that trouble is a-brewing.
Starting in real-time, according to Radar Online, Khloe has kicked Lamar out of their shared Tarzana, Calif. mansion, and hired someone to search the property for any drugs that Lamar may have left behind upon his departure.
An anonymous source close to the Kardashian family tells Radar:
“Khloe hired a professional to do a sweep of the palatial estate after booting Lamar from the premises,” a source told Radar.
“She did this because Khloe didn’t want cops to show up with a search warrant and find drugs in the house, because she could be arrested as an accessory, et cetera.”
“Secondly, in case Lamar were to move back in, she didn’t want him to go looking for the drugs and using again. There is zero tolerance for drugs by Khloe. She hates it, it has never been her thing and she didn’t want it in her house.”
And the reports from the “secret source” don’t stop there. Apparently Kris Jenner’s sister is speaking up about an interaction with the pair during family Thanksgiving last year, where she claimed Lamar was acting bizarre and she noticed his eyes roll into the back of his head before the pair left just 45 minutes into dinner.
Yikes.
Meanwhile, fans and viewers of Keeping Up with the Kardashians are getting an inside look at the drama unraveling, as the pre-taped reality TV show debuted its new season on E! In the latest episode, Khloe gets vocal to sister Kylie, explaining to the young one:
“Holy moly! There’s a lot of emotional issues I think Lamar has…I do want to help or cater to Lamar but also, there’s only so much anybody can take.”
Later, Khloe spoke directly into the camera and said:
“Lamar is a very depressed person, which is sad but understandable for everything he’s been through in his life. I do love Lamar with every ounce of who I am but it’s really scary when someone’s in such a deep low and you know they’re kind of relying on you to get them out and you’re trying and you’re trying and you’re trying and nothing’s really working.”
The news of their looming divorce riddled with rumors of drug abuse is a hard burden for any family to carry, so we wish Khloe and Lamar our best on their road to recovery.
