On the big day of her new film’s release, Alicia Keys drops a new song titled “Better Me, Better You.”
Alicia belts out inspirational lyrics over a drum-riddled ballad featured in the film The Inevitable Defeat Of Mister & Pete, which she executive produced.
“I know I’m gonna make it/ I’ve come too far to lose it/ I’ve gotta stay focused and find a better me,” sings Alicia.
Alicia is currently gearing up to work on her forthcoming new album, scheduled to drop sometime in 2014. “Better Me, Better You” is off the soundtrack of The Inevitable Defeat Of Mister & Pete, which hits theaters today.
The Alicia Keys-executive produced film also co-stars Jennifer Hudson and Jordin Sparks. Take a listen to Alicia’s new track below.
