The story of Adrian Peterson losing his son after the boyfriend of his mother abused him is getting sadder and sadder.
The NFL star has responded to the media reporting on the story, and while the death of his son which he met for the first time while he was in a coma is very sad, he’s been getting an outpour of love.
Many celebrities have reached out to Adrian and honored his son by posting the picture of him and Adrian Jr. to their Twitters and Instagrams, but unfortunately it’s not the right picture of the son he lost.
Adrian responded to the postings, tweeting:
My son Adrian Jr. who lives w/me is healthy. Appreciate the concern. We respectfully ask to stop tweeting his pics.

It’s only right that Peterson would want to clear this up. Our prayers and condolences continue to be with his family.
