The government is still shut down, but that doesn’t mean Michelle Obama is anything less than her fashionable self. She’s got threads to learn about, and who better to teach the lessons than Carine Roitfeld?
While out in Paris during Fashion Week, Kim Kardashian made headlines with a sultry post-baby return to the limelight for the screening of Mademoiselle C, a film that tracks former Vogue France editor Roitfeld’s launch of her CR Fashion Book magazine. But the FLOTUS didn’t need a fancy night out for her screening of the same film, she simply phoned a copy in to the White House.
Mademoiselle C director Fabien Constant confirmed to Fashionista that the White House requested a copy of the film so that Mrs. Obama could do a private screening. Not only is this a pretty fashionable affair, but it’s also rumored that Mademoiselle C is supposedly one of the first French films ever to be screened at the White House.
When fashion is good fashion, we can kinda ignore all the foolish labels, right? We wonder what Michelle’s review of the film was!
