The marriage of great company and spectacularly intimate ambiance is one that’s hard to come by in the generation of “turn ups,” but when the expertise of a LifeStyleHer is at the helm, the event that follows is sure to be one for the books.
This Columbus Day, we discovered something aside from the myth of the infamous Christopher Columbus; we discovered the warmth of LifeStyleHer. Mashonda opened up her home to a select group of 8 fellow ladies of whom she considered LifeStyleHers, women who embody panache and class while uplifting others with positivity. To celebrate the future of the brand, Mashonda hosted a delectable dinner prepared by Chef Irini Lygnos, complete with three courses and enough goodies to please even the most selective palette.
More amazing than the event itself was the array of women in attendance. Mashonda hosted old friend and musician Marsha Ambrosius, Jennifer Williams, Tamika Mallory, Laurel DeWitt, Nicole Darmanin, Melissa, Janell Snowden, and myself for a night of intimate (bordering on emotional) conversations that ranged from Marsha’s last memories with the great Michael Jackson, to Jennifer Williams’ experiences in the reality limelight, and Janell Snowden’s hair moments as an early anchor. While the conversation was variable, one tone was consistent: LifeStyleHer is a portal that all these women were looking forward to investing their time in.
