Just when you thought things in Washington D.C. couldn’t get any zanier.

The government shutdown and the looming debt ceiling default was enough to drive us all crazy, but for the House stenographer recording it all, it was too much to bear.

As the House finished their vote to reopen the government and bring us back from the brink of financial collapse, the stenographer (now identified as Dianne Reidy) decided to let everyone know how she was really feeling about Congress, God and the Freemasons.

“He [God] will not be mocked. The greatest deception here is that this is not one nation under God. It never was. It would not have been. The Constitution would not have been written by Freemasons. They go against God. You cannot serve two masters. Praise be to God. Praise be to Jesus.”

She was promptly dragged from the floor. U.S. Rep. Joaquin Castro, D-Texas, said the woman had a crazed look on her face. And we’re all still a bit confused about the commotion.

One thing is for sure…politicians in Washington D.C. have more drama than Basketball Wives.
