Timbaland might be crying a river of his own after hearing that his wife, Monique Mosley, has filed for divorce and is requesting a large amount of money in the settlement, according to TMZ.
In what many are calling a “surprising split,” Mosley filed for divorce from the popular music producer after 5 years of marriage, and 10 years of being together. Not only is she requesting that Timbo pay child support for their 5-year-old daughter, but she is also asking for child support for her 10-year-old from a previous marriage. Aye dios mio!
According to E! Online, the “Suit & Tie” producer is:
Being asked to pay for private schooling, vacations, summer camp and other expenses. Mosley has also requested that the “Way I Are” hit maker pay her legal fees, as she had to borrow money from a friend to hire an attorney.
The 41-year-old has worked with some of music’s biggest names, including Madonna, Jay Z, Aaliyah, JT and Missy Elliott (just to name a few) and is worth an estimated $80 million.
We just hope that these two are able to resolve things amicably for themselves and the sake of their children.
