It’s been a pretty up and down year for Young Scooter. The rapper started out 2013 strong: releasing Street Lottery, which featured the smash single “Columbia.”

Then in April, Young Scooter was arrested, and he has been down ever since. But while locked up, Scooter has been keeping his buzz strong. In the summer, he released a tape called From The Cell Block To Your Block.

That tape is where you can find the Future-assisted “Caught Up In the Streets.” The video for the track was just released and it features Scooter and Future kicking it in the slums of Atlanta. (It’s pretty evident that Future just shot his part; he never appears in the same scene as Scooter).

So we have new music and visuals from Scooter, but when is the rapper actually coming home? OG Missinfo got the scoop from his team:

Young Scooter was released from Dekalb Co. Jail on September 19th, 2013 after serving time for a probation violation. However upon his scheduled release, a hold was put on him by Hamilton County, Ohio for a probation violation stemming from a million dollar check ring, which Scooter was previously involved in. On September 26th, he was transported to Cincinnati, Ohio where he awaits an appearance before a judge. His next scheduled court date is October 21st.”

She also revealed that he’ll be releasing Street Lottery 2 soon, and the first single from that project is a cut with Cam’ron. Niccce.

Peep Scooter’s latest above.
