POTUS is fired up!
After it’s 16th day the government shutdown finally ended, but not without leaving behind many ruffled feathers including President Obama‘s.
In an address to the nation from the White House hours after signing into law a compromise that ended the standoff, the President said to Republicans:
“You don’t like a particular policy or a particular president? Then argue for your position. Go out there and win an election,”
He continued:
“Push to change it. But don’t break it,”
He added:
“Probably nothing has done more damage to America’s credibility in the world, our standing with other countries than the spectacle we’ve seen over the last several weeks,”
