The Mastermind’s master plan is starting to come together.

The Bawse Rick Ross is currently cooking up a new classic for the 4th quarter. The album will be called Mastermind and the project’s first single is the Future-assisted “No Games,” which has gotten a warm response.

So what’s next? It turns out it’s another new single, this time with fellow boss Jay Z. The name of the new single is “The Devil is a Lie.”

Yesterday, Rick Ross chopped it up with MTV’s Sway to talk about the single, saying:

“We went in another direction but it’s just one of those records that’s gonna speak for itself and everybody’s gonna have their opinion of it.”

He also talked about the working-relationship he has with Jay:

“From my second album, to my third and fourth, anytime I needed a collaboration, he always made it happen. He’s been out of the country [for] some events, I’ve [called] him last minute and he made it happens. So there’s always been that genuine respect.”

Other than Kanye West, has Jay collaborated with any other rapper like he has with Ross over the last 10 years?

We don’t think so. Since 2006, Jay has appeared on every Rick Ross album, except for 2009’s Deeper Than Rap.

Can’t wait to hear “The Devil is A Lie.” #NewClassic
