On Tuesday, the man who allegedly beat NFL star Adrian Peterson’s toddler son to death was released from jail.
Joseph Patterson, 27, posted a $750,000 bond and was released from Minnehaha County Jail in South Dakota. He was charged with second-degree murder after Peterson’s 2-year-old son died from injuries he sustained during a brutal beating.
Patterson was reportedly dating the child’s mother, who was not around at the time of the beating.
According to TMZ:
The bond was lowered from $1 million yesterday after Patterson pled not guilty in court. He has been charged with second degree murder and 2 counts of first degree manslaughter, as well as aggravated battery of an infant. He has also been charged with felony child abuse.
No word on when he’s due back in court.
