The Lay-up.

New York Knicks fans have had a lot of tough moments over the last couple of decades. One of the more devastating situations came in the 1995 Semi-Conference. It was Game 7 against the Indiana Pacers. Down one, with five seconds left, NY Knicks star Patrick Ewing got the ball and drove to the basket.

However, instead of dunking it, the 7-footer went for a lay-up, which rolled off the rim. The Knicks were bumped from the playoffs; the Pacers went on to face the Orlando Magic in the Eastern Conference.

So what really happened? It’s been a mystery, until now.

Well, Action Bronson just released the trailer for his upcoming Blue Chips 2 mixtape, and it features the rapper passing off a bag of cash to Patrick before Game 7, sealing the fate for the Knicks.

(Damn, Bam Bam, we thought you were from New Yawk?)

Seriously though, this skit is funny. And it has us excited for Blue Chips 2, which drops this Friday.

Watch the sketch above.
