While the TLC biopic was a major hit amongst fans of the ’90s girl group, not everyone was as pleased.
Former TLC manager Perri “Pebbles” Reid is speaking out about her depiction in the film and she is pissed.
Pebbles tells TMZ her portrayal was all wrong and she wants VH1 to make some major retractions. L.A. Reid’s ex says the reason it’s taken her a week to respond to the film is because she was shell-shocked by the lies.
“This unprovoked attack has been extremely upsetting to me and my family,” she said.
It’s not so much just rumors she’s angry about, though. Perri says CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story contains “many false and defamatory statements and scenes about me.”
Pebbles insists she never did anyone any wrong, especially not the ladies of TLC, and she’s ready to defend her honor! She has her attorney ready and is in the process of getting the reparations she believes she deserves.
