Nicki Minaj is not here to be downplayed!

The Head Barb In Charge performed at Power 105’s Powerhouse concert at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn Saturday night, and while she killed the stage, it was her interview that turned heads.

After putting on an epic performance, Nicki sat down with the Breakfast Club crew to talk about her upcoming third studio album, but they did dabble in some scandalous stuff.

Charlamagne Tha God brought up Kendrick Lamar’s notorious “Control” verse, where he claims he is the “King Of NY”, and Nicki did have some choice of words for him.

First, she responded to the list of MC’s mentioned, and why she thinks she wasn’t mentioned at all:

“I’m probably in the top five of the niggas he did mention, so go and do your motherfucking research. But, I also feel like he maybe one of those respectful gentlemen that probably felt like ‘I don’t want to say a female’s name.’ Or maybe he just don’t think the kid is ill. But the kid knows the kid is ill, so I don’t need to be on anybody’s dick.”

Then, Charlamagne brought up the “King of NY” line, which set Nicki off:

“I’m the queen of New York. I’m the king of New York. Let me tell you why. Platinum albums. Albums plural. Number one in five motherfucking countries, nigga. Don’t play with me. You better respect my motherfucking gangsta, bitch. When you got an album that goes number one in Japan, the UK, Australia, America and Canada at the same motherfucking time, then you can speak my motherfucking name.”

While there most likely isn’t any beef between Nicki and Kendrick, since she laughed a lot of her responses off, she did tweet about it:

We can’t wait to see the full interview! Do you guys think this is going to spark any beef with Kendrick?
