After a few weeks of flirting with high fashion earlier in the year, Lady Gaga has reverted back to her silly antics, and while they are extensively confusing, we enjoy most of them. Most of them with the exception of this strange grill she’s been sporting for the last few appearances.
Lady Gaga showed up on the red carpet at Sunday’s YouTube Awards donning this scary contraption in her mouth. And while many assumed it was a Halloween-centric grill, the fine folks over at The Cut have deciphered its existence…The teeth are actually a bracelet. Yes, as in the one that belongs on your arm, not jammed in your mouth.
The “dental cuff,” was designed by 25-year-old jewelry designer Danielle Hills, who is the brainchild behind Gilding Primal Instinct. The bracelet-turned-mouthpiece was also featured by Gaga on her single artwork for “Dope,” released earlier this week.
