The Hobbit movie franchise achieved world domination yesterday with an extremely successful event in preparation for the release of new film, The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug.
Fans got a chance to meet the stars of the movie and if they couldn’t make it, the event was streamed into homes all over the globe.
In New York, Richard Armitage (who plays Thorin Oakenshield) and Orlando Bloom (Legolas) chatted it up with Anderson Cooper.
In Los Angeles, Evangeline Lilly (Tauriel) made an appearance, while London played home to stars Lee Pace, Luke Evans and Andy Serkis.
But these events all played point to Wellington, New Zealand, where director Peter Jackson held a personal Q&A with the fans.
Add in this successful event and the fact that a new trailer dropped, and the new installment of The Hobbit is on its way to being an international success!
