On Saturday, we heard the miraculous story of a Wisconsin team of skydivers surviving the collision of two Cessna planes.
Now, we’re getting an inside look into the terrifying moment when their perfectly timed air acrobatics nearly turned deadly.
In the video above, taken on the helmet cams of the skydivers, you can see part of the team prepare to make the jump. But all of a sudden, the Cessna collides with the small plane below it, sending one of the wings into a fiery ball.
All nine skydivers are forced to exit the planes. The pilot in one of the Cessnas uses his emergency parachute to escape. The other successfully lands the damaged plane in a field. All involved survived.
