If you ever want to engage in criminal activity, you probably don’t want to take any pointers from this guy.

After hitting a taxi near the 1400 block of West Belmont on Chicago’s North Side, the driver in the black SUV attempts to leave the scene of the crime and avoid the taxi driver’s obvious rage.

But after being blocked by the cab and the other cars who happened upon the scene, that escape plan seemed to unravel before him.

And when the taxi driver decides to hit the window of the SUV in frustration, it’s all too much for the driver. He speeds off, hitting yet another cab, backing into parked cars, accelerating into another SUV and going down in history as the worst hit-and-run attempt of all time.

In all, six cars were hit. And in an almost theatrical twist to the story, the SUV was stolen.

According to DNAinfo Chicago, police eventually caught up with the driver, who was arrested.

As for the taxi driver? Well he was left with $3,000 worth of damage to his livelihood. Bummer. But the video is worth a watch. See it in its entirety above.
