Shake It Up star Zendaya has just landed herself a new Disney pilot!
The 17-year-old actress will star as Katy Cooper in Super Awesome Katy, the half-hour comedy pilot that was just approved by the children’s cable network. Super Awesome Katy follows the life of 16-year-old Katy “an outspoken and confident technology wiz and skilled black belt, who discovers that both her parents are spies who expect her to follow in their footsteps.”
Zendaya is one hell of a catch, as she recently competed on Dancing with the Stars, is represented by ICM Partners and Monster Talent, and is signed to Hollywood Records.
