There seems to be something about FLAUNT magazine that makes Selena Gomez want to shake off that good girl style. Last night, the beauty stepped out on the red carpet to celebrate the latest issue of the magazine, looking stunning in a very sexy black dress.
In the cover story, Selena Gomez ditches the long locks for a short brown banged bob and a lingerie-clad shoot, and yes, there was a shirtless man involved.
The look is a new sultry one for Bieber’s former flame, but in the interview, it’s the same ol’ Selena that we have come to know and love, as the 20-year-old talks ghosts and answers the question all young people fear: Where do you want to be in 5 years?
When I ask her where she’ll be at 26, Selena Gomez says, “I hope that I’ve left a bigger impact,” calling to mind a meteor crater or blast site, the imploded ruins of old Vegas hotels. A ten-year plan? “Oh, God. I don’t know,” she says. “I hope that I’m really happy by 30.”
She also had her bit to say about 16-year-old songstress Lorde, who recently said that as a feminist, she was sick of women being portrayed as they are in Gomez’s song “Come & Get It.”
“That’s not feminism,” she says. “[Lorde is] not supporting other women. That’s my honest opinion, that’s what I would say to her if I saw her.” Selena Gomez says she’s a fan of Lorde. “I actually covered her song in all of my shows that I’ve done so far. I’m not sure if I’m going to continue that.”
Drama.
