The illest record that dropped this week is from the kid Marshall Mathers AKA Eminem. The track Don’t Front pits Em rhyming over the old Black Moon ‘I Gotcha Opin’ track from their ground breaking Enta Da Stage album. Buckshot actually gets to do the chorus again which is really dope. Not sure how Don’t Front didn’t make the album but its all good. The track is featured in the new Call Of Duty: Ghosts video game.

Of all the 100’s of songs about weed in hip hop, it really takes a decent record to move me. This new Gunplay Kush record is definitely something to check. It features “dope” 16’s from Lil Wayne and Rick Ross. One listen to this and I guarantee a case of the munchies…at least for some more Gunplay gutter ish.

Want some fly hip hop head nod shit? Peep this new Busta Rhymes track Thank You. It features a bevy a heavyweight spitters in Q Tip, Lil Wayne, and a Kanye West photo bomb like interlude. Busta and Q Tip sound fresher than a lot new school artist. The gift of MC’ing belongs definitely but to only a few with skill and dexterity to have rap careers 20+ years.

Young Jeezy has been hard at work building up his CTE empire with a slew of signing this year including Cali rapper YG. They’ve traded bars before so it was no surprise to hear them together on this latest newbie Birfday. Not sure if this song belongs to Jeezy, YG, or if its a CTE clique track. Don’t matter though, word to the homie Sheist Bubz, everyday is may Birfday.

The Black Migo Gang has taken hip hop by storm but the secret weapon in their click, Young Scooter, still has yet to blast off. His new song Rap Game is filled with his take on the rap game vs the crack game. Definitely theme music to anyone who knows the ins and outs of both games. Until we read again.
