Eminem’s The Marshall Mathers LP 2 went berserk on the music charts.

As predicted, Eminem’s new album made the second-highest debut of 2013, falling short of Justin Timberlake’s The 20/20 Experience first week sales.

The Marshall Mathers LP 2 debuted at number one on Billboard, selling 792,000 copies in its first week, knocking Drake’s Nothing Was The Same album to the second-place spot. The Marshall Mathers LP 2 has surpassed Em’s previous sales, including his acclaimed Recovery album, which sold 741,000 copies in its first week.

Eminem is the first artist in 50 years to have four singles on Billboard’s Top 20 chart. The last artist to achieve such success were The Beatles. The Marshall Mathers LP 2 features breakout singles “The Monster” featuring Rihanna, “Rap God,” “Berzerk,” and “Love Game” featuring Kendrick Lamar.

Congrats Em!
