Fall is arguably the most magical time of year. Summer is on its way out – time to trade those short shorts for long pants, sandals for boots and sun-kissed glow for sweater-covered skin. Starbucks puts out their most delicious seasonal drink (take a seat, gingerbread latte!), you have an excuse to head to the mall to stock up on cute boots and sweaters in every color and – let’s be real – is there any prettier time of year than early fall?

Didn’t think so.

The trouble is, as time goes by, all the leaves fall from the trees and the days grow shorter, fall goes from totally epic to totally blah!

Because fall is quickly coming to an end…

…we rounded up all the reasons late fall totally sucks.

Check it out.

All the leaves have pretty much fallen off the trees, leaving bare, twisted – and frankly, ugly – skeletons behind…

The days are getting increasingly shorter, making productivity that much more difficult.

Halloween has come and gone, which means a number of things…

…All the good movies are gone ’til Christmas…

..you no longer have an excuse to spend hours obsessing over and perfecting a costume…

…candy is no longer an acceptable meal…

…and all you have to look forward to now is Thanksgiving…

…And who really wants to celebrate the displacement of thousands of people? Ugh!

The cold weather makes being fashionable that much more difficult…

…and I cannot say enough about the struggle to find the perfect coat – cute AND fashionable?

The ever-popular Pumpkin Spice Latte is forced to live in the shadow of its sippable siblings Caramel Brulee Latte, Gingerbread Latte, Peppermint Mocha & the rest of the holiday line up.

…But hey, more PSL for us loyal fans.

Late fall signals the end of any and all outdoor activities, which is all fun and games until swimsuit season rolls back around.

Depending on your geographic location, this time of year can mean snow…

…which is pretty and all, but c’mon – how are we supposed to walk in that ish?!

The drastic change in weather also means way. more. germs…

EW!

On the bright side, the end of fall means the holiday season is just around the corner!

So light the menorah….

…deck the halls…

Do whatever you have to. Let’s just get through it, y’all.
