It looks like Lamar Odom may re-sign with the Los Angeles Clippers.
According to reports, Lam Lam has already had meetings and met with some of the players and also sat down with members of management for two hours on Friday, Nov. 15.
An insider told Us mag:
“It was the best deal and he’s happy to go back,”
Adding:
“Lamar is training and in good shape.”
But according to ESPN it has just been a “good conversation” for now. The site reports:
Clippers coach Doc Rivers confirmed the team met with free-agent forward Lamar Odom on Friday.
Rivers described the meeting as “a good conversation,” but added, “it didn’t go much further than that.”
This could help take major pressure of his marriage with Khloe Kardashian. The couple have been pretty rocky for some months due to the baller’s depression and reported drug abuse but things could be taking a happy turn. The site reports the couple are speaking again and even spending some quality time together.
“Khloe and Lamar started talking again,” a source told Us of the couple. “Over the last few days they started talking all the time. So she invited him to Kris [Jenner’s] birthday party [on Nov. 6]. He had a great time.” The source added: “He’s doing so much better.”
And apparently the team isn’t worried about Lamar’s drug use. The source tells the site:
“The teams aren’t concerned about the drug use. If he stays mentally focused he can help [to] win games.”
