During a press conference, more details came about regarding George Zimmerman’s domestic dispute with his girlfriend.
The victim, identified as Samantha Scheibe, indicated she and Zimmerman were having a verbal dispute where she alleged he broke a table before pointing a shotgun at her. Zimmerman was unarmed when police arrived. However, he had barricaded the door and the police had to move furniture out of the way to get to Zimmerman. Ms. Scheibe told police that she was “in fear of her life.” The investigators are still meeting with her to get more information about the incident, while they obtain a search warrant to locate the shotgun. There might be another gun in the house, according to the police.
Zimmerman was arrested and booked at 1pm EST, charged with aggravated assault, battery domestic violence, and criminal mischief. There is no bond set until he sees the judge tomorrow morning. The aggravated assault charge with a firearm is a felony punishable up to 5 years in prison. If a gun is used, there is a 3 years minimum mandatory.

George Zimmerman, the former neighborhood watch volunteer acquitted in the murder of Trayvon Martin, was arrested on Monday after a domestic disturbance call was made to police. Zimmerman has been transported to the Seminole County Jail and is currently being booked.
The police are not releasing any additional information at this time, although we know that defense attorney Mark O’Mara will not be representing Zimmerman this time around.

According to law enforcement sources — which have been involved with the Zimmerman case since day one and have always been reliable — Zimmerman got physical with his girlfriend earlier today, who claimed she was pregnant.
Since she’s pregnant, we’re told the domestic violence charge is automatically listed as a felony. The Seminole County Sheriff’s website says Zimmerman is not eligible for bail.
Law enforcement sources tell us … Zimmerman JUST arrived to a local jail and is currently being booked into the system.
According to reporter Karla Ray of WFTV, the incident involved a gun.
