Jersey Shore alumni Pauly D finally met his 5-month-old daughter Amabella earlier this month, and the proud dad couldn’t say enough about his baby girl.
“I was nervous until I saw her face. When I saw her eyes light up and her arms reach out for me, it was an amazing feeling,” he told Radar Online.
Early this month, Amanda Markert, Pauly D’s baby mama, agreed to allow the former reality TV star to meet his daughter at an undisclosed location in New Jersey. Pauly’s mom tagged along for the little meet up and the pair came bearing gifts.
Pauly joked that his daughter will probably grow up with similar interests to her DJing daddy: fist pumping and hair gel!
“The first thing she did was reach for my hair,” he said. “She is beautiful.”
“She smiles all the time. Always smiling. I always smile, too so she’s definitely my baby just by that big smile she has,” he continued.
Pauly reportedly brought tons of gifts for Amabella, including a pair of Air Jordans just like her dad’s.
“She’s got to be fresh like her daddy,” he said.
“Dressing a little girl is cool. I never thought I’d have to do that, but it’s amazing. I find myself shopping online all day for her,” he revealed.
Though she’s only 5-months-old, Pauly says he knows he’ll be a protective dad.
“Oh yeah!” he said. “She’s going to be daddy’s little girl.”
Pauly and Amanda are still in the midst of a nasty custody battle. Sources told Radar Online that weeks before the story went public, Pauly filed for custody of his daughter.
