Ten-year-old Aaron Vu was helping his father out at his nail salon in the Miami area when two men raided the shop and shot them both.

While his father is still alive, Aaron lost his life when the gunmen burst into the store and opened fire after demanding money.

According to The Huffington Post, the men got the money they wanted, but they still opened fire on the store.

The site reports:

Investigators say the two armed men entered Hong Kong Nails at 14832 N.W. 7th Avenue about 7:30 p.m. Witnesses told WSVN they not only demanded cash from owner Hai Vu, but also told customers to turn over their purses before shooting the Vus.

“It appears that they did get what they came for, so why they started shooting, I couldn’t begin to tell you,” Zabaleta said.

Tragically, the Miami Herald reports Hai Vu’s wife and Aaron’s mother, Lynn, witnessed the shooting.

Aaron is said to be at least one of 5 other children who have been shot in Miami in this Fall season alone.

We hope these two gunmen are found and justice is served.
