Just a few weeks after Kanye slammed the Zappos CEO, claiming the company sells shit product, the Vegas-based online retailer has tapped someone from a publication Kanye is very much fond of: Vogue’s André Leon Talley. The former Vogue editor-at-large has been pegged to oversee editorial content on the yet-to-be-released Zappos Couture site, set to debut on Jan. 22.

According to Racked, this one-year partnership with Zappos means big announcements from vendors such as Gucci, Prada, Fendi, Lanvin, Cartier and Dolce & Gabbana, who have signed on with Zappos. So far, Alexander McQueen, Bottega Veneta and Salvatore Ferragamo make up the biggest couture brands on the site.

As for the developments thus far, Zappos Couture site has a weekly video feature called The Trend, with red-carpet interviews with designers and celebrities hosted by Victoria Recaño.

Hm, we’re pretty darn sure Kanye West is somewhere twirling the words about Zappos right back up off his plate of rants and eating them after hearing this news.
