“Enough Said” wasn’t enough.
Despite the backlash he faced back in 2012, Drake decided to share a preview of a possible new Aaliyah collaboration on his Instagram.
In August 2012, Drake released “Enough Said,” which featured unreleased vocals from the late great singer, but both he and his best friend Noah “40” Shebib were slammed by Aaliyah fans and hip-hop producer Timbaland.
Since then, Timbaland and Drake have worked together on their “Know Bout Me” collaboration, but we don’t know how Tim’s going to feel about another Drake and Aaliyah record floating around the ‘net. In a recent interview, Drake said he was planning to release three to four new songs in December, including the triumphant track “Trophies.”
