Rita Ora is ready to try her hand at acting.
Though she is known mostly for her musical talents, the British pop star will make her big screen debut in one of this year’s most highly anticipated films, Fifty Shades of Grey. Ora, who is signed to Jay Z’s record label Roc Nation Records, was recently rumored to have been cast as Christian Grey’s adopted younger sister Mia. The 23-year-old songstress confirmed the rumors on Twitter:

Rita hasn’t given up on her music career, however. Her second album is set to hit shelves in the spring of 2014 and is rumored to feature collaborations with boyfriend Calvin Harris, among other artists.
Ora will star alongside Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson in the film. Dornan was cast as the lead, Christian Grey, after Sons of Anarchy star Charlie Hunnam left the film.
We can’t wait to see what Rita brings to the big screen.
