It’s the most wonderful time of the year!
Now that December is in full swing, Christmas trees around the country are being lit up to celebrate the holiday season, and the Obama’s are certainly taking part in the festivities.
Last night, President Obama and his family lit up the National Christmas tree in Washington, D.C. where they were joined by a few familiar faces.
The family watched on as the queen of Christmas, Mariah Carey sang her heart out to some holiday jams, and Janelle Monae kept everyone warm with her electric performance.
President Obama even made a new friend as he met Mariah’s daughter Monroe for the first time while she was in her mommy’s arms.
After a tough year in office, it’s great to see the Obama’s celebrating the end of the year on a positive note.
