Ciara’s “Body Party” was a huge song this year, but the recently-engaged singer was snubbed by the GRAMMY committee this month when neither the hit song, nor her most recent album, were nominated for any awards.
In true superstar fashion, the singer took to Instagram to post a note explaining why the song, which peaked at #1 on Billboard’s Hot Dance Club Songs charts, got no love from the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences.
Many of CiCi’s followers thought that the 28-year-old singer was salty about the whole thing, seeing as she reposted a message that seemed aimed at the aforementioned snubbing.
