Evil did not win that day.
That’s the message the mother of 6-year-old Emilie Parker conveys in a powerful tribute video to her daughter and those who supported their family after the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre last year.
Emilie was among the 20 students who lost their lives in the tragic shooting on Dec. 14, 2012. Her mother, devastated from the loss of her daughter, believed that evil had prevailed. But with the outpour of love and support they received from neighbors, family, friends and complete strangers, she realized just how big God’s love is…and recognized the good in Emilie she thought she lost in people all across America.
