It’s been a long and very controversial year for Miley Cyrus and it looks like her antics may finally be catching up with her.

During a behind the scenes interview at Power 96.1’s Jingle Ball, Miley confessed that she had her doubts MTV would be asking her back to the MTV VMAs after this year’s twerk seen ’round the world.

The 21-year-old pop sensation addressed the controversy in an interview with Sonic not long after with a big fat ‘sorry I’m not sorry!’

“It kind of just opened so many doors for me to be like, alright, I already pissed you off as much as I possibly can,” she said. “So, now I can kind of just be freer and kind of do whatever it is that we want to do.”

Though she was unapologetic about her behavior, it seems Miley now realizes that her risque behavior could have lasting effects on her career and her chances of hitting the stage during any future VMAs.

“I doubt they’re ever gonna ask me back,” she jokes. “But just kidding…I don’t know.”

Don’t feel too bad for Miley, she’s got plenty going for her. In fact, Cyrus is set to twerk in the New Year alongside Ryan Seacrest during Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.
