Yesterday, family and friends of Paul Walker gathered at the Forest Lawn Cemetery in the Hollywood Hills for the late actor’s funeral, just two weeks after the actor’s tragic death.
Fifty people came together to pay their respects to the Fast & Furious star, and some even gave some touching speeches that were reportedly near-impossible to get through.
Family members including his daughter Meadow, parents Paul and Cheryl, his brothers Cody and Caleb, and sister Ashley, all came out to remember Paul.
A source revealed to Us Weekly of the services:
“A few people got up and gave tributes to Paul. It was hard for many people to talk, they were in tears and couldn’t finish what they were saying.”
“It was a really sad day for so many people, and you could tell they just weren’t ready to say goodbye,” the eyewitness continued. “His parents were there, along with his brothers and some other family members. Everyone was hugging each other tight and didn’t want to let go.”
The service went on for about 40 minutes, as a large picture of Paul was set at the gravesite with white flowers all around.
Paul’s legacy will never be forgotten. This really is such a sad story. May he rest in peace.
