We’ve heard enough from Fox News’ Megyn Kelly on what she thinks Santa Claus (and Jesus) look like.
We get it. We hear your infallible tone. To Kelly and Fox, Santa Claus is white.
But what Fox News irresponsibly forgot to do was reach out to the writer of the Slate article that first challenged Santa Claus’ race in an ever-changing America. But CNN caught up with Aisha Harris to get her take on Kelly’s claim that Santa Claus cannot be black — and her follow up on how the comments were blown out of proportion.
“I felt that they were playing the victim there…the fact that they tried to deflect it, and say that they were making a joke out of it, just didn’t ring true to me. She said it very emphatically on the program Wednesday, and to me there was nothing joke-like about it.”
